Southeast Asia, Here I Come!

Having just sort of settled into life here in Pristina, I am off again for the next five weeks! I’ve always known that travel in Asia would take a lot of time to be done right. Since I went straight to work during the typical post-university gap year, time is not something I had much of until now. I bought a knock-off North Face backpack here in Pristina for 50 euros, so yes, at the ripe old age of 27… I’m backpacking Southeast Asia for the next month!

Since I’m doing it on my own, I decided it would be best to join up with a group of like-minded travelers. So, after a bit of research, I settled on G Adventures’ “Indochina Discovery” trip. I knew I wanted to see Angkor Wat, Halong Bay, the beauty of Laos and everything in between so this seemed like the perfect fit.

You can definitely expect more posts about the delicious food I’m eating and the amazing sights and sounds from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.

First stop: Bangkok!
