War Remnants in Ho Chi Minh City

Striking photograph of an American military commander in tears after a difficult mission during the Vietnam War. Reflects my sentiments as I went through the War Remnants Museum today in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon in the pre-war days).

This picture was taken by Larry Burrows, one of the many brave journalists who risked their lives to bring the true images of the tolls of war outside of Southeast Asia. Burrows died when the military helicopter he was in was shot down over Laos in 1971.

May he and the millions of victims of this grisly war rest in peace.

I have read several good stuff here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to make such a great informative web site.

It definitely ebbs and flows… seemingly more ebb than flow lately, but thanks for the bookmark!
